Which Is Better? A Bagged Or A Bagless Vacuum Cleaner?

!±8± Which Is Better? A Bagged Or A Bagless Vacuum Cleaner?

Our parents were used to the traditional vacuum cleaner, the one that comes with a disposable dirt bag. Then again, over the past years, a more modern type of vacuum cleaner has emerged and became more popular than its traditional counterpart.

Now, people buying household appliances machine? Before you decide on which works better for you, let us consider the following C factors.

Convenience

Most households have converted to using the bagless vacuum machine from the conventional bagged vacuum cleaner because they find checking the dirt bag every now and then inconvenient. While it is not that difficult a task, some find it a hassle to begin cleaning only to find out that the dirt bag is already full and they do not have an extra bag to replace it with.

On the other hand, bagless vacuum cleaners do not have disposable bags. They instead have hard plastic containers that contain the dirt. If it is full, all you have to do is open the compartment and pour the dust out into the trash can.

However, the filters in the plastic compartments of these bagless vacuum need to be cleaned every now and then. It's not easy cleaning either. Most models have filters that need to be washed, brushed and dried before you can use it again. If you ask me, buying a disposable dirt bag for the bagged vacuum machine is much less of a hassle than cleaning those dust-filled compartments.

In addition, bagless vacuum machines are also noisier than the bagged ones because of the machinery it operates on.

Cleanliness

Many people claim that bagged cleaners are the cleaner option between the two. People need not be in contact with the dust itself because after vacuum cleaning, all you have to do is remove the bag and throw it away. Disposable dirt bags that were manufactured before were a lot thinner than the ones we have today. Before, smaller dust particles can easily escape from the dirt bags and back into your house. But nowadays, dirt bags are much thicker and firmer and can easily contain all dust particles.

On the other hand, when using a bagless vacuum, there is much contact between people and the dust. Once the compartment is full, the dust inside is directly thrown out. Do not attempt to open the compartment inside your house or else all of your efforts to clean up will be useless. Once the compartment is open, light dust particles can easily be carried by the wind and will be scattered around your house again.

However, if you accidentally vacuumed something important, say an earring or an important paper, it will be easier to retrieve from a plastic compartment than from a disposable dirt bag.

Cost

Most bagless vacuum machines are priced higher than bagged vacuum cleaners. This come with a promise that in the long run, you will save more money because you do not have to buy disposable dirt bags.

While it's true that you need not buy these dirt bags every now and then, it's also true that bagless cleaners come with more maintenance cost than you can imagine. In a bagless vacuum cleaner, dirt is stored inside a plastic compartment with a filter. As discussed in the convenience aspect, this filter has to be cleaned up every now and then.

Aside from that, maintenance of these filters is also notorious on being more expensive than maintaining dirt bags. Some customers report that their filters, after being washed and cleaned up, develop molds. These filters have to be replaced with a new one when they get problematic, which is often.

Filters are not the only component of bagless vacuum cleaners that deteriorate and need to be replaced. Rubber gaskets, seals and all the other motor parts of this vacuum cleaner will have to be replaced eventually.

Lastly, one of the maintenance costs of having a bagless cleaner comes from - guess what - its energy consumption! Because it runs on more sophisticated machinery than its bagged cousin, you also have to pay higher operating costs.

So the bagged one is better?

I have to say that the bagged vacuum cleaner is better than the bagless cleaner. It wins on all aspects: convenience, cleanliness and operating costs. While the latter gains more popularity, you can't ignore the fact that our parents got it right.

How to Manage Stress and Keep Yourself Illness Free

!±8± How to Manage Stress and Keep Yourself Illness Free

If you want to live longer and enjoy a happier life, then you must know how to deal with everyday stress which causes some illnesses in the body. You cannot continue to compare the life expectancy of the people before to the present generation, because everything has changed. If a person could live to be a hundred years old before, it may not be possible now because stress has become an everyday occurrence and is a main factor in preventing a person from enjoying a full and happy life. However, there are methods on how to fight off stress and everybody has the ability to do so. All you need is the proper information that will arm you against stress.

To start, you will need to have a schedule for everything you are going to do in a day. When you keep one, you will be able to manage stress better because you can complete all the tasks you have within the prescribed period. This will avoid cramming and the feeling that you do not have time for everything. The schedule can be done at night before going to sleep. Do not try to fit everything in one day because you will be swamped, which will stress you out. There is no way that you can play with time and you have to accept your human limitations. If you think you cannot finish something within the day, then do not over-exhaust yourself. The more pressure you put on yourself, the more chances there are of failing.

If a particularly hard problem arises, seek an outlet. Never keep a problem or issue bottled up inside you because it is a great stressor. Too much stress lowers the immune system, which makes you more susceptible to illnesses. Grab someone you are close to and tell him or her everything. If there is no one to turn to, you can write everything on a journal. Write down your feelings to keep yourself from becoming a bomb that is ready to explode anytime.
